Golden Tulip Hotels has continued to expand its footprint in India with the launch of a new property in Noida, near Delhi.

The new Golden Tulip Vasundhara is positioned as a “contemporary business hotel”, offering 162 rooms, two restaurants including a rooftop grill and bar, a rooftop pool, fitness centre, and more than 900m² of conference and banqueting space.

The launch of the new hotel forms part of a major expansion plan for Golden Tulip in India. The company debuted in India in 2007 and has since built a portfolio of 17 operational properties across the country. It will launch three new South Asian properties this year, including one in Bangladesh.

“Our aim is to create a portfolio of hotels across the world with a distinct identity but incorporating the local flavours of each region,” explained Vimal Singh, managing director of Golden Tulip in South Asia.

“It is our constant endeavour to provide business and leisure travellers a personalised and meaningful experience to the cities they travel to. We are looking to position ourselves amongst the leading hotel chains in the country with these new launches.”

Golden Tulip Vasundhara is located in the IT hub of Noida, 45 minutes drive from Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and 20 minutes from central Delhi.
