Qatar Airways to showcase new aircraft at Le Bourget

Qatar Airways will showcase the newest and best of its fleet with a display of five aircraft at the 2015 Paris Air Show, which takes place next month at Le Bourget in Paris.

The aircraft will include the Airbus A380 and A350 XWB, both of which entered service for the airline recently, with Qatar Airways receiving the A350 as global launch customer.

The A350 XWB, which entered service in January and now flies double-daily to Frankfurt and daily to Munich from October this year, is also being rolled out across three daily services to Singapore this summer, and will prove popular with aviation enthusiasts visiting the show, as Qatar Airways remains the only airline in the world flying the aircraft.

The 517-seat A380 superjumbo flies to Bangkok, Paris and London from Doha. The new First Class A380 seat features a 90-inch seat pitch, transforms into a fully flat bed and has up to 2,000 entertainment options displayed on individual 26-inch television screens.

Overall, Qatar Airways will have on display at the Paris Air Show an Airbus A380, A350, A320, A319 and a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Qatar Airways’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner has a two-cabin configuration, comprising of 22 seats in Business Class and 232 Economy Class seats.

The A320 on display has 12 Business Class seats, 120 Economy Class seats and on-demand audio video at every seat.

The Airbus A319 all Business Class aircraft, which flies daily from Doha to London Heathrow, will also be a popular attraction at the show. This aircraft is configured with a single aisle, 2-2 seating configuration, offering 40 premium Business Class seats.
