The codeshare marks the first stage of collaboration between the two airlines, which will aim to benefit passengers with a higher number of combined frequencies for better connectivity and increased travel flexibility between the two countries.

Turkish Airlines currently operates daily flights on its Istanbul – Taipei v.v. route and EVA air has now placed its marketing code on each of these fights as the first stage of the collaboration. Next Year, EVA Air will also launch service on the route and the code-sharing will be applied as reciprocal by Turkish Airlines placing its code on flights operated by EVA Air.
