Qatar Airways recently concluded a successful Paris Air Show.

The airline was the first to display five aircraft on static display – the A380, A350, A320, A319 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The airline also placed an order for both commercial and freighter Boeing 777s. There was a firm order placed for 10 777-8Xs and four 777 freighters with a total value of US$4.8 billion.

Qatar Airways group chief executive, HE Akbar Al Baker also welcomed several dignitaries and VIPs on board including French president, François Hollande, Violeta Bulc, European commissioner for transport, France’s prime minister, Manuel Valls, and France’s secretary of state for transport, Alain Vidalies.
