Qatar Airways will significantly increase the number of the flights it offers to Manila this October, following the expansion of the Air Service Agreement between Qatar and the Philippines.
Commencing on 26 October 2015, the airline will add six more weekly flights to its Doha-Manila route, taking the total frequency to two flights per day.
The new services will operate every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, departing Doha at 0830 and arriving in Manila at 2215. The return flights will then leave at 2359, getting back into Doha at 0505 the following day.
The Doha–Manila route is operated using a Boeing 777 aircraft featuring 24 seats in business class seats and 356 in economy.
“The increase in flight frequencies on the Doha–Manila route serves to further strengthen commercial and trade links between our two countries and we are delighted to be able to provide our Philippines-based passengers with greater connectivity options,” said Qatar Airways’ group chief executive, Akbar Al Baker.
“Passengers travelling with Qatar Airways beyond Doha can also look forward to flying on some of the world’s most advanced aircraft, including the A350.”
Combined with Qatar Airways’ daily flights between Doha and Clark, the airline will operate a total of three weekly flights to and from the Philippines.
