Starwood Hotels & Resorts has launched its first Sheraton hotel in Hyderabad.
The new Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel is located in the city’s financial district and adjacent to the HITEX Exhibition Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
“The Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel is a highly anticipated addition to the Sheraton brand’s global portfolio and marks an increased demand for hotels in emerging markets within India’s bustling metropolitan cities,” said Dilip Puri, Starwood’s managing director for India.
“It is also yet another example of our conversion friendly strategy that highlights our ability to convert hotels successfully within a short period of time and have them join our system as we continue to deliver value to our partners and create compelling experiences for our guests.”
The new hotel offers 272 rooms, plus a restaurant, swimming pool and fitness centre. In the coming months it will also open a new Asian restaurant and a rooftop bar.
The hotel also features more than 950m² of meeting space, including a ballroom.
Sheraton Hyderabad becomes the 44th Starwood hotel in India and the country’s third Sheraton, following existing properties in Bengaluru and Delhi.
