Millennium Plaza Hotel Dubai recently held an Iftar for children of Thalassemia Center at Latifa Hospital.
The team from Millennium Plaza Hotel Dubai was led by Daniel Mathew, general manager, Shihaam Kader, training manager, Azam Chiragh, human resources manager and Bhagyashree Kale, human resources officer hosted the event attended by 19 children along with their parents. Fatima Saeed Saleh Alswead, senior social worker and Awatif AbdulBaqi Aljsmi, head of follow up and coordinator of Thalassemia Center assisted the team.
Under supervision of Dubai Health Authority, Thalassemia Centre provides aid to patients with genetic blood disorders and other haemoglobinopathies. The center has 28 beds for patients who require blood transfusion and an out-patient clinic.
