SpiceJet has launched a new scheme allowing passengers to pay for their fares in instalments.
Under new ‘Book Now, Pay Later’ initiative, the Delhi-based airline will offer customers the chance to pay for their airfares over the course of three, six, nine or 12 months. The scheme is initially available for passengers booking with India-issued credit cards from Axis Bank, HSBC, Kotak Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
Interest rates for the scheme are set at 12-14%.
“Providing customer convenience and enhancing options through unique travel schemes and offers are central to SpiceJet’s philosophy. We are confident that this scheme will make air travel more economically-viable than ever before for those customers who want to travel now, but pay later,” said SpiceJet’s chief marketing officer, Debojo Maharshi.
The facility is available for bookings made through the SpiceJet website.
