Emirates adds more capacity for Bangkok

In a recent development, Emirates announced its intent to add a fourth daily A380 service between Dubai and Bangkok. This new service will be introduced from 1 December 2015.
The new two-class A380 service will operate daily as flight EK376 from Dubai to Bangkok and EK377 from Bangkok to Dubai. The up-gauge from its current Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will see an increase in capacity of 255 seats per flight and 3,570 seats per week.
Barry Brown, Emirates divisional senior vice president, commercial operations East, said: “Thailand is an important market for Emirates. The addition of this two-class A380 passenger service will be instrumental in helping us meet growing passenger demand, as well as deliver substantial economic benefits.”
Emirates’ two-class A380 is configured with 58 seats in business class and 557 seats in economy.
EK376 will depart Dubai at 0330hrs and arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 1235hrs the same day. The return flight, EK377 will depart Bangkok at 1600hrs and arrives in Dubai the same day at 1955hrs.
