A new luxury hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City is preparing for its grand opening.

The Reverie Saigon will launch in September 2015, located in the 39-storey Times Square building. It will feature 286 rooms and suites ranging in size from 43 to 313m² and designed in an “aristocratic” style.

The hotel is billing the rooms as being the “most expensive accommodation available in the city”.

“With this hotel, we have tried to create an experience of accommodation that is so singular, so splendid and so unexpected in the one-time ‘Pearl of the Orient’ that the hotel becomes a place that stays with guests long after they’ve checked-out,” said Herbert Laubichler-Pichler, general manager of The Reverie Saigon.

The hotel will also offer three restaurants, serving Chinese, Italian and French cuisine, plus a ground-floor café. Other facilities include a 1,200m² spa with 10 treatment rooms and a beauty salon, a large gym, swimming pool, outdoor jacuzzis and indoor steam rooms and saunas.

For the MICE market, the hotel will provide 15 function spaces including the largest pillar-free ballroom in the city.

Room rates at the hotel start from US$450 per night, including breakfast, Wi-Fi and minibar items.
