MSC Cruises will embark on a 60-day ‘Grand Voyage’ from Brazil to China next year.

The newly-refurbished MSC Lirica cruise ship will depart Rio de Janeiro on 3 March 2016, sailing across the Atlantic Ocean and via Europe and the Middle East, before eventually arriving in Shanghai on 1 May 2016.

The voyage can also be split into three shorter sections, with passengers able to embark and disembark in the Italian port of Genoa and the UAE city of Dubai.

“This new Grand Voyage offering is proof of our steadfast commitment to offer our experienced guests and holidaymakers innovative and sought-after destinations. As MSC Cruises continues to expand the destinations it calls, we are further enhancing our global offering while providing travellers best-in-class experiences and service,” said Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises.
