Austrian Airlines recently announced its intent to commence services to Marrakech.
The new route will commence in the airline’s winter schedule which begins on 14 November. Austrian Airlines will launch the route with one flight per week.
“In addition to Miami, Mauritius and Colombo as new long-haul tourist destinations, we are now expanding our flight offering to medium-haul destinations. In this way, we compensate for strong seasonality of our business,” said Andreas Otto, chief commercial officer of Austrian Airlines.
The airline will deploy an Airbus A319 on its flights to Marrakech. These flights will be operated on Saturdays until 2 April 2016.
