MEBAA takes off in Morocco

The MEBAA Show Morocco was inaugurated with key attendees from regional business aviation at Mohammed V International airport.
The show was inaugurated by HE Mohamed Najib Boulif, minister delegate to the minister of equipment, transport and logistics, HE Aziz Rebbah, in Morocco, with Ali Alnaqbi, founding chairman of the Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA).
The event attracted 57 exhibitors on site which also included companies such as Bombardier and Gulfstream as well as regional companies like AfricAir.
Trevor Esling, regional senior vice president, EMEA of Gulfstream said: “Business in Morocco is good and demonstrates lots of potential for the future.”
Over 2000 visitors are expected to attend the show over its two day run.
Ali Alnaqbi, founding chairman of MEBAA said: “We are focusing on the Moroccan market because we knew that Morocco was a hub for business aviation in the region.”
