“We are incredibly honoured to finally bring onboard the highly anticipated hotels from one of India’s largest luxury hotel groups – The Lalit,” said Roland Jegge, Worldhotels’ executive vice president for Asia Pacific.
“India is emblematic of Worldhotels’ growth momentum in the region, and the arrival of these four extraordinary affiliates of character and charm reinforces our commitment to growing our portfolio in this key market.”
The 461-room Lalit New Delhi is an 18-storey hotel located in Connaught Place, while the Lalit Mumbai offers 368 rooms and suites close to the city’s international airport. The Lalit Ashok Bangalore is set in four hectares of landscaped gardens and provides 184 rooms and suites, while The Lalit Great Eastern Kolkata is set in an historic building that used to be used by officers of the East India Company in the 1800s.
