Qatar Airways expands its UK routes

Qatar Airways recently announced the addition of a new service between Birmingham and Doha from 30 March 2016, adding to its existing services from London Heathrow, Manchester and Edinburgh.
The new service will operate eight times a week, including two flights on Saturdays. The route will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with a two-cabin configuration. The aircraft will offer 22 seats in business class and 232 in economy class.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive, HE Akbar Al Baker said: “This additional route strengthens the airline’s commitment to the regions across the UK and will create new commercial and leisure links.”
The flight schedule between Doha and Birmingham effective 30 March 2016 will be on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Doha to Birmingham departure at 01.25 arrival 06.45, while Birmingham to Doha departure 09.15 arrival 18.05. There will also be flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Doha to Birmingham departure at 07.30 with arrival at 12.50 and Birmingham to Doha departure at 15.00 with its arrival 23.50.
