Kuoni is aiming to drive more group bookings in the religious travel sector, with the launch of a new range of itineraries from its Travel Bound Groups unit.

Travel agents can now book faith-based package tours using a new e-booklet from Travel Bound Groups.

There are 19 escorted itineraries to destinations throughout Europe and the Middle East, including a ‘Jubilee Year of Mercy’ package for religious groups travelling to Italy, a Protestant itinerary for groups interested in Germany’s Luther500 festival, and a series of packages to Israel for both Christian and Jewish travellers.

Each itinerary within the e-booklet includes a day-by-day summary of the tour, inclusions, pricing, pictures and maps.

“We have handled a large volume of faith-based travel in the past, and we understand the particular needs and limitations of religious group travel, from special meals, worship services and accommodations for spiritual leaders. Each pre-packaged tour has been carefully crafted to provide travel agents focused on religious travel with quality itineraries at an unbeatable, net price,” said Tommy Ryder, head of sales for Travel Bound Groups.

Many of the itineraries include access to exclusive religious ceremonies and private entrances to sacred sites.
