The luxury Twinpalms resort in Phuket has partnered with development company MontAzure to create a new luxury residential complex on the Thai resort island.

Set on 100 metres of beachfront land on Phuket’s west coast, Twinpalms Residences MontAzure will comprise 75 luxury residences.

The THB15 billion (US$422 million), 72-hectare project will also include a branded luxury hotel, four beach clubs, 13 hillside villas and a 32-hectare nature reserve. The complex is expected to be completed towards the end of 2017.

“There were simply too many synergies to ignore,” said Twinpalms’ founder & managing director, Carl Langenskiold. “We were looking for growth opportunities and MontAzure offered a perfect solution for us to extend our brand and management capabilities into a project designed by the same designer as ours. So it was a strong fit.”

The luxury Twinpalms resort is located at Surin Beach on Phuket’s west coast, and the brand also operates the Catch and Bimi Beach Clubs and Palm Seafood Restaurant.

Twinpalms Residences MontAzure will offer one- and two-bedroom units, and a selection of penthouses with access to a private rooftop and pool. Facilities will include a beachfront restaurant and bar, a gym and yoga studio, spa pavilions, a library and lounge, and outdoor event spaces.
