Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has confirmed that its first property in Pattaya will open on 15 December 2015.

The new Mövenpick Siam Hotel Pattaya will be positioned on Na Jomtien Beach, next to the Ocean Marina Yacht Club.

It will feature 262 rooms and suites, all with views of the Gulf of Thailand, plus three F&B outlets, an outdoor lagoon pool, spa, kids’ club, water sports centre, fitness centre and meeting space. Guests will also be offered the services of a golf concierge, while island cruises, deep sea fishing trips and regional excursions can be arranged.

And emphasising its Swiss heritage, the resort will offer a daily “Chocolate Hour”, when guests will be served complimentary Swiss chocolate.

“We are delighted to announce our opening in December, our fifth hotel in Thailand,” said Mövenpick’s senior vice president for Asia, Andrew Langdon. “We have a long and successful track record in Thailand and are firmly committed to the destination in the long term.”

The new Pattaya property joins Mövenpick’s existing portfolio of Thai hotels and resorts in Bangkok, Phuket and Koh Samui.
