Gulf Air recently recognized four members of its workforce for having successfully completed International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) flight operations officer training at the Civil Aviation Training Center in Thailand.
The four Bahraini attendees were Ahmed Ismaeel Alqassab, Adam Adnan Mohamed, Ahmed Abdulla Al Haddad and Sara Abdulelah Khonji.
All four are currently working at Gulf Air’s Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOC) that controls and manages the airline’s ‘day of operation’ and next two days’ flight schedule and disruptions on a 24×7 basis.
Adhering to ICAO training requirements for operations controllers, the three-month long aviation training was followed by Flight Operations Officer’s license exams conducted by the Thailand department of Civil Aviation.
