Thailand-based Representasia has formed a new partnership with Duetto for the roll out of hotel and casino revenue management solutions in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
Duetto specialises in cloud-based technology, including the GameChanger solution, designed to help hotels optimise their pricing and increase revenue.
“Duetto was very interested in being able to approach the hotels of Southeast Asia alongside a company like Representasia, who know the landscape incredibly well and have the respect of the hotels,” says Amanda See, Duetto’s vice president of sales.
“Although our Asian headquarters is close by in Singapore, we will still need to work with partners such as Representasia who have intimate local knowledge befitting their close proximity to our potential customers. This gives us a great ambassador for a cutting-edge technology that aims to shake up the way hotels practice revenue strategy — but also, more importantly, to help make those hotels more money.”
GameChanger is based on the concept of “open pricing”, which offers hotels a flexible way to set rates in line with demand, either by day, room type, customer segment, distribution channel or rate code. This means that each room can be priced dynamically 365 days a year, improving the chance of booking conversions.
The solution integrates with a hotel’s PMS and incorporates forward-looking data such as look-to-book ratios from the hotel’s website, airline data and even weather.
Tim Russell, Representasia’s co-founder chief marketing officer, commented; “Our alliance with Duetto is great news for both parties. GameChanger is the perfect fit for our rapidly expanding portfolio of innovative hotel technology solutions, and we are proud to be representing such a well-known and prestigious brand as Duetto. And of course, they will benefit from our years of experience, knowledge and contacts in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.”
