Tuesday 8 March 2016 marked exactly 100 days until the Shanghai Disney Resort welcomes its first official guests, and the theme park has now released a series of new images to whet visitors’ appetites.
The resort has unveiled photos of several rides and attractions, including the TRON Lightcycle Power Run rollercoaster, Adventure Isle and Treasure Cove, as well as a peek at the interior of the new Shanghai Disneyland Hotel.
The park, which will become the world’s largest Disneyland resort, will open to the public on 16 June.
“As the grand opening draws closer, the resort teams are already conducting extensive preparations for the first official guests, including testing and adjusting attractions, conducting rehearsals for entertainment experiences, landscaping across the entire site, and undertaking other preparatory work to prepare an exciting guest experience across Shanghai Disney Resort on opening day,” Shanghai Disneyland said in a press release this week.
Once operational, the park will feature six themed lands, live entertainment, night-time shows and other attractions, including the world’s tallest Magic Castle.
