Best Western has signed an agreement for Bangkok’s second Vib hotel.

Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2019, the newly-built Vib Sathorn will be located close to the Saphan Taksin BTS skytrain station.

It will offer 180 rooms and a range of modern amenities, such as a social lobby area with multiple USB access and power ports, and a bar or cafe. Rooms will feature Smart TVs, LED lighting and free Wi-Fi.

Construction on the new property will get underway in June 2016.

Vib is Best Western’s midscale lifestyle brand designed for new-build developments in urban locations. So far, the company has signed two Vib hotels in Bangkok and others in Yangon and Vientiane.
