Hotels.com has teamed up with the Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) to launch a new online platform for the travel trade.
The new ‘Hotels.com for Partners’ site will allow travel trade companies, including airlines, to white label or co-brand with Hotels.com and access its hotel inventory. Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is already trialling the new platform.
“We pride ourselves on the simple booking process and the large selection of properties we offer today’s modern traveller. This latest collaboration between Hotels.com and EAN brings together two fast-growing, truly global players in the travel market, giving us the ability to provide an even more robust business solution to partners via our new platform,” said Johan Svanstrom, president of the Hotels.com and EAN brands.
“Our new product will give partners a high-converting, mobile-ready solution, with the added benefit of access to the combined expertise and technical support from Hotels.com and EAN.”
According to Hotels.com, the new trade platform is unique in that it only offers accommodation options that deliver the highest conversion rates. But this still leaves an inventory of “hundreds of thousands” of hotels, which also can be offered as part of packages for customers who have made a flight booking.
