Philippine Airlines unveils global Wi-Fi service

Philippine Airlines has launched a new service that provides travellers with global mobile internet coverage for a flat fee.
The new ‘myPALRoam’ solution, which has been developed in partnership with Skyroam, acts as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot and can be used in more than 80 countries, including the US, UK, Australia, China and India.
“We are aware of our passengers’ need to stay connected anywhere in the world. Your flag carrier continues to innovate to further enhance the total travel experience. So whether you’re flying across the country or halfway around the globe, we made sure we’ve got you covered,” PAL’s president, Jaime J. Bautista.
The service costs PHP490 (approx. US$10.40) per day and Wi-Fi devices can be purchased online, at Manila airport or through PAL ticket offices.
MyPALRoam forms part of the airline’s new range of electronic solutions which also include the myPAL Player, myPAL Wifi and the myPAL Mobile.
