Three of the Gulf’s major carriers have launched weighty seasonal discount campaigns in a bid to stimulate sales.
Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways and Gulf Air all revealed details of their special offers this week, which offer travellers more than 50% off fares.
Etihad Airways is targeting business and economy class guests with up to 50% off fares on selected routes for travel until June 2017, as well as a prize draw offering $200 credit to 100 lucky winners.
It covers 45 destinations across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Americas. In addition, members of the airline’s loyalty programme, Etihad Guest, will continue to earn miles on all fares in the sale. The one-off offer is valid between now and 6 September 2016.
Gulf Air has also launched its sale season campaign, slashing fares by up to 55% for passengers travelling across the airline’s network between 1 September and 10 December 2016. The tickets are available for purchase until 15 September 2016, offering attractive and low prices to many winter city breaks and year-round summer destinations.
Qatar Airways has re-booted its popular ‘Travel Festival’ campaign and like Etihad, is cutting fares by up to 50%.
Bookings must be made before 6 September for travel between 15 September 2015 and 30 June, 2017.
The airline is also offering the passengers a chance to win one of 75 daily prizes while Privilege Club members can earn triple Qmiles.
