Cruise & Maritime Voyages has announced that their next ‘Land of the Northern Lights’ cruise will depart from the London Cruise Terminal – Tilbury, on 29 October 2016. This voyage offers travellers the chance to see the spectacular Aurora Borealis, one of nature’s most extraordinary phenomena.
Mike Hall, Head of Marketing at CMV said, ‘The success of our Land of the Northern Lights cruises always depends on the ideal atmospheric conditions. However, this year we seem to have been most successful in our search. The CMV itinerary planners include many of the places where good sightings are most often recorded so if the weather behaves you are in for a treat.’
This cruise starts with a visit to Amsterdam then follows Norway’s coastline into idyllic fjord villages and charming coastal towns. Ports of call include Olden, Alta, and Honningsvaag when passengers have the chance to take an excursion to the North Cape, high in the Arctic Circle. Other calls include Tromso, Trondheim, Åndalsnes and Bergen.
