Plaza Premium, the independent airport lounge operator, has opened its first facility in Brisbane.
Located in the airport’s international terminal, the new Plaza Premium Lounge spans approximately 420m² and can seat more than 100 people.
Overlooking the terminal and runway, the lounge offers complimentary Wi-Fi, multiple electrical outlets, and F&B areas with live-cooking stations, a salad bar and freshly-brewed coffee.
And adjacent to the lounge, Plaza Premium has also launched a new spa, providing a range of treatments for travellers.
The lounge opens daily between 5am and 11pm and is open to all passengers for a fee, regardless of cabin class.
“As the world’s largest independent airport lounge, we are very excited to… introduce our independent airport lounge concept to Australia,” said Song Hoi-see, founder & CEO of Plaza Premium.
“Plaza Premium Lounge in Brisbane is the first facility built under the brand of Plaza Premium in Australia. This newly-introduced facility will provide comfort, convenience and award-winning services to all travellers through Brisbane Airport, regardless of their airline or class of travel.”
The Brisbane facility becomes the first Plaza Premium-branded lounge in Australia. It is not however, the first facility operated by the Hong Kong-based company Down Under; Plaza Premium already manages two lounges at Sydney Airport on behalf of SkyTeam and American Express.
