Norwegian Cruise Line has opened a new contact centre in Hong Kong, aimed at serving the region’s travel trade.

A team of cruise consultants will be based at the facility, providing the region’s travel trade with customer service, help with bookings, pre-cruise activities and organising the passenger’s onboard experience. Services will be offered in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

“Establishing a local contact centre to deliver enhanced service and assistance to local trade was a top priority for us when setting up Norwegian Cruise Line’s Hong Kong office,” said Felix Chan, NCL’s vice president of sales for Asia.

“Our specialist team of contact centre staff have all complete intensive training to effectively and rapidly respond to service calls, new bookings and assist with enquiries from our valued trade partners.”

The new Hong Kong contact centre will operate from Monday to Saturday. Its launch comes ahead of the deployment of NCL’s first ever Chinese-focused cruise ship, Norwegian Joy, which will start sailing from Shanghai next year.
