Bangkok Airways has introduced a series of new menus designed to celebrate “the best of Thai and ASEAN cuisine”.
The in-flight meals include six classic Thai options plus the signature dishes of the 10 ASEAN countries.
The Thai offerings include phad Thai, green curry, massaman curry, tom yum goong, tom kha gai and papaya salad, and will be available on all Bangkok Airways flights – domestic and international – originating at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi and Samui airports.
The ASEAN dishes will be served to passengers on the national days of each country; for example, Singapore noodles will be served on Singapore’s National Day in August, while nasi uduk will be offered on Indonesia’s National Day in May, pho will be served on Vietnam’s National Day in September, and amok will be available on Cambodia’s National Day.
And local dishes will also be extended to non-ASEAN routes, including those from India and Hong Kong.
