Not on line shopping this time but Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV) is offering on line shipping to the Amazon. CMV’s Magellan 42-night cruise has the Amazon neatly wrapped up with new fares and for many cabin grades – additional benefits. This Amazon, West Indies and the Azores departure, sails from the London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury on January 7th next year.
The Amazon cruise has always been a popular voyage with CMV since the company first introduced it to their programme seven years ago. Many passengers have done the cruise many times. Highlights include Parintins; Manaus, Santarém, in the midst of the Amazonian jungle.
Then there are the Caribbean islands of St Lucia, Tobago, Grenada and Barbados to explore. Also, during this epic voyage of discovery, you get to visit Cape Verde, Madeira and the Azores. Photos of you fishing for piranha fish in the heart of the Amazon may well be the conversation stopper at your next dinner party!
Magellan offers a traditional and leisurely ‘country house’ style of cruise and maritime experience on board. The many repeat passengers preferring a ship that looks like a ship rather than a block of flats. The ship carries only up to 1250 passengers so the service is more intimate and friendly. This voyage is adults only with sterling the on board currency.
