Jetstar Pacific, the Vietnamese low-cost carrier, has started renewing its fleet.
The airline recently took delivery of the first of 10 brand new Airbus A320 aircraft, as part of its efforts to expand its domestic and international operations. This follows the signing of an agreement for the new single-aisle jets at last year’s Farnborough International Air Show.
The new A320s offers 186 seats in an all-economy class configuration and will be based at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
“We are delighted to welcome 10 new Airbus A320ceo aircraft to Jetstar Pacific as we continue to develop and update our modern fleet,” said Nguyen Quoc Phuong, CEO of Jetstar Pacific.
“This continues to affirm our long-term commitment of providing low fares every day, in making travel even more affordable and at the same time, exceeding customer satisfaction on our flights.”
The new aircraft joins Jetstar Pacific’s existing fleet of 14 A320s. The remaining nine aircraft from last year’s order are all due to be delivered by the end of 2017.
