The Radisson Hotel Bangkok, Sathorn, will open in mid-2009, the group has announced, adding a further 436 high-end guest rooms into the city’s inventory. The 37-storey, twin towered property will be located in Bangkok’s Sathorn Road business district and will feature a 37th floor will feature rooftop restaurant overlooking the Bangkok skyline.
The property’s General Manager, Samir Wildemann, hailed the hotel’s situation; “We are in a great location with easy accessibility to all major thoroughfares throughout the city, within few minutes to the Bangkok Skytrain and Metro, and we are right across the first station of Bangkok’s new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) due to be completed in a few months,” said
Radisson Hotel Bangkok Sathorn is one of 7 new Thai properties planned by Carlson, under its Regent, Radisson and Park Plaza brands in Bangkok, Krabi and Phuket.
