ANA has opened a unique children’s airport lounge at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
As part of the Japanese airline’s five-year partnership with Disney, the new Star Wars-themed lounge has been launched at Terminal 2. It will be open daily from early morning until 9pm.
The lounge features a slide, bench seating, picture books and other items designed to allow children to “play freely in a safe environment.”
The creation of the new lounge follows the recent launch of four Star Wars-themed ANA aircraft, based on the characters R2-D2, C-3PO and BB-8. The new kids’ lounge will also be decorated with images of these robots.
In addition, ANA has signed a new sponsorship agreement with Japanese football player Keisuke Honda. The former CSKA Moscow and AC Milan midfielder joined Mexican side CF Pachuca in July this year – five months after the launch of ANA’s new Tokyo-Mexico City flights, which took off in February 2017.
