CEB leads way in Philippines

Cebu Pacific (CEB) has retained its position as the Philippines’ leading domestic airline, carrying a 45.6% market share in 2008, up by 2.6% points year-on-year, according to a Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation report.
CEB flew 5.4 million domestic passengers last year – half a million more than the combined traffic of Philippine Airlines and PAL Express, which flew 4.9 million passengers. Air Philippines (913,570 passengers), Zest Air (374,145) and Seair (217,885) trailed further behind.
