Qatar Airways today announced a reduction in its international fuel surcharge.
The move reflects the return to stability in oil prices over the past few months following an unprecedented surge during 2008.
The airline’s Chief Executive Officer, Akbar al Baker, said; “Qatar Airways’ fuel surcharges have been significantly lower than those of other airlines. We have absorbed a large percentage of the increase in fuel prices in the past, passing very little onto the consumer.”
