MAUNU VON LUEDERS has been appointed IATA’s new Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. A Finnish national, von Lueders has served as CEO of two international carriers, JetLite in India and Nordic Airlink/FlyNordic in Sweden.
JERRY HUANG has been announced as the new President of IHG Greater China. A native of Shanghai, Huang has been with IHG for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Operations for IHG Greater China.
JOLYON BULLEY has been appointed as IHG Greater China’s Senior Vice President of Operations. He joined the company in Australia in 2011, and most recently held the position of VP of Southeast Asia Operations & Asia Australasia Operations Performance.
CHARLES WOO has been named Managing Director of the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers and Area Managing Director for Hong Kong & Macau. A native of Hong Kong, Woo has 33 years’ experience, 15 of which have been spent with Sheraton hotels.
KEVIN KNIGHT has been announced as the new Chief Strategy & Planning Officer for Etihad Airways. Knight has more than 30 years’ experience and joins Etihad after 17 years at United Airlines, where was most recently Senior Vice President of Planning.
GEERT BOVEN has been named as Etihad Airways’ new Senior Vice President for the Americas, based in New York. Boven has held several positions with companies including KLM, and was most recently Managing Director of Amadeus Gulf.
LUKE MILES has been named as Virgin Atlantic Airways’ new Head of Design, effective 4 April. Miles, who is currently Head of Design at LG Electronics Europe, will oversee development of the Virgin brand’s design both internally and externally.
JEAN MARIE HEALY has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer of the Kiwi Collection. Ms Healy, who will be based in London, has 10 years’ senior level experience, most recently as Vice President of Marketing with American Express.
CAROLINE STEVENS has been announced as the new Vice President of Human Resources for the Minor Hotel Group. Ms Stevens joins Minor from Hilton Worldwide where she most recently held the role of Vice President of HR for Middle East & Africa.
YOTHIN UTHAPHU has been appointed Resort Manager of the Away Koh Kood, part of the Centara Boutique Collection. Khun Yothin has several years experience across Thailand, and previously held the position General Manager at the U Chiang Mai.
STEPHANE SORET has been announced as the Raffles Hotel Singapore’s first Wine Director. Formerly Head Sommelier at The Imperial in New Delhi, Soret is on the annual panel of judges for Decanter magazine’s World Wine Awards in London.
CHOO TZE HUEI has been appointed Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong. Choo arrives from the Park Lane Hotel, London, where he served as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.
