DEAN ROSSILLI has been appointed General Manager of the new Thistle Port Dickson Resort. Rossilli has worked across Australia, America and Europe, most recently holding General Manager positions at the Macdonald Botley Park Hotel, Golf and Country Club, and the Marriott Goodwood Park Hotel & Country Club, UK.
JOACHIM GRILL has been announced as the new General Manager of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Pattaya, Thailand. An Austrian national, Grill arrives from Centara Hotels & Resorts. His career has also included spells with Banyan Tree and Raffles.
YATES FEI has been appointed Director of Sales & Account Management for Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) China. Fei started his career with HRG in 2005 as Regional Business Manager for Asia Pacific back in 2005 and prior to this most recent appointment, he was the Head of Account Management for HRG China.
BETTY LIM has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing for HPL Hotels & Resorts’ Hard Rock Hotel Penang. A native of Penang, Ms Lim has 17 years of hospitality experience including stints with Shangri-La and IHG. Prior to joining Hard Rock Hotel, she was Director of Sales at Parkroyal Penang.
MARC DOBBELS has been appointed Food & Beverage Director at the AYANA Resort and Spa Bali. A Michelin-starred chef, Dobbels comes to AYANA from his role as pre-opening Food & Beverage Director of The Capella Singapore, another West Paces Hotel Group property.
KERATI CHANTARAVISUTERL has been announced as the new Director of Sales at Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa. Kerati has been with the resort since 2007, working as Assistant Director of Sales.
RICHARD CROSS has been appointed Executive Chef at the Radisson Resort Fiji Denarau Island. Originally from New Zealand, Cross’ pedigree includes catering for the UK royal family, Richard Branson, and Bill Clinton. He was previously Executive Chef at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers. SANDRA McPHEE has been appointed to the Board of Tourism Australia. Ms McPhee currently serves on the board of Australia Post, AGL Energy Limited, St Vincent’s and Mater Health, and as Vice President of The Art Gallery of NSW.
KATE LAMONT has also been appointed to the Board of Tourism Australia. Ms Lamont is currently the Chair of Tourism Western Australia and a Director of the Committee for Perth. She is a past winner of the WA Telstra Business Woman of the Year.
TONY ROMER-LEE has been announced as the Resort Manager of the new One&Only Cape Town. Romer-Lee, with 17 years experience in South African luxury hotels, joins One&Only after almost three years as Senior General Manager at Singita’s 5 Lodges in the Sabi Sand and Kruger National Park Game Reserves.
