Smartworld partners with EkinnoLab to power UAE’s digital economic growth

Smartworld has signed an agreement with EkinnoLab to launch the ‘Park & X’ solution in support of the development of smart cities in the UAE.
Smartworld is a digital service provider that powers digital economic growth. It works closely with government entities, telecommunication operators, and a range of businesses, from SMEs to large enterprises. In cooperation with the UAE’s vision to become a ‘smart’ country, it has signed an agreement with EkinnoLab, a Polish software house, which specialises in mobile applications development and testing services.
The partnership will serve the UAE’s goal of becoming one of the ‘most technologically advanced countries in the world’.
“Smartworld is honoured to partner with EkinnoLab for this unique initiative, which will cater to the rapidly-rising demand for smart city solutions. With this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to support the UAE leadership’s vision to make the UAE, a smart country,” said Abdulqader Ali, CEO of Smartworld.
Park & X services
The Park & X services are designed for industries like transportation, entertainment, hospitality, free zones and aviation. It can serve multiple purposes by combining mobility innovations with value-added services.
These services are Park & Fly for aviation transport, Park & Ride for public transport, Park & Work for co-working space reservations, Park & Charge for electric vehicle charging, and Park & Shop for shopping malls.

Smartworld was founded as a joint venture between Etisalat & Dubai South in 2008. The new agreement seeks to capitalise on EkinnoLab’s flagship product, NaviParking, a mobile app which navigates users to available parking slots; and NaviWorkspace, which combines indoor navigation with GPS technology.
