Exotic Brazilian cuisine, colourful cocktails and fine wines, great music and exciting Latin American dance performers have arrived in Pattaya with the opening of Zico’s Brazilian Grill & Bar.

Located on the beach at Central Pattaya, in front of the Central Festival department store, Zico’s is under the management of the newly opened Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, which is located at nearby Wong Amat Beach.

Zico’s in Pattaya is the second branch to have opened in Thailand, the first being at Koh Samui under the operation of Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui.

Signature service is the churrascaria dinner, in which 15 varieties of meat and fish including beef, chicken, pork, lamb, salmon and prawns plus vegetarian specialties are cooked on revolving spits in the show kitchen and continually circulated around the restaurant by “passadors”, or roving waiters, who carve or serve directly from the skewer onto the diners’ plates.

Service is controlled by the diner by flipping the red and green “stop and go” disk on the table. Red tells the passadors that no servings are required, while green is the signal for them to serve an endless supply.

There is an all-you-can-eat salad bar with 50 items available, and a selection of side dishes such as rice, mashed potatoes, potatoes in their jackets, ratatouille, sauces, and bread, which are served by the passadors.

Price for an unlimited number of meat and seafood churrascaria servings plus the salad bar is B750++, and for the vegetarian churrascaria servings plus salad bar, B500++.
