The UK’s Premier Inn has revealed the most unusual items left in its hotels in a light-hearted bid to remind people to double-check before checking out.

As hundreds of thousands of guests gear up for the summer, Premier Inn is also preparing to make sure no-one leaves their room without all their property – however unusual it is. Some of the more unusual items left range from large-scale professional family portraits to Royal memorabilia left in its rooms.

“We’ve seen it all”

Premier Inn’s managing director Simon Ewins said: “As the UK’s biggest hotel company, we’ve seen it all over the years in terms of lost property. Thankfully, we’re able to reunite most people with their lost items but we hope that by revealing some of the quirkier things we’ve found, it will encourage people to double-check they have everything before checking out”.
