Serving up smiles this Random Acts of Kindness Day

Jet2.com celebrated its new children’s meal boxes being served onboard for the first time, by handing out complimentary meals to youngsters on flights this Random Acts of Kindness Day.

Children heading off on a February half-term holiday were given even more reason to smile, as the family-friendly airline gave away brand-new meal boxes, from all nine of its UK bases, to a select number of kids. The lucky children were randomly selected onboard flights taking off on Random Acts of Kindness Day and handed a meal box while flying with the airline. On top of this, one lucky winner would find a golden ticket in their meal box, entitling them to a free family holiday.

Helping to keep them entertained and make time fly, the new meal boxes also contain an activity pack and colouring pencils. Little ones can choose from a range of fun activities including colouring in, making their way through a maze, drawing a selfie, testing their concentration or playing the alphabet game.

In November last year, the carrier had announced it was making mealtimes in the sky fun by launching these brand-new meal boxes for children. The February half-term marks the first time it has served the new meal boxes onboard.
