Desaru Coast plans largest incentives to cater to India
Malaysia’s newest and largest integrated destination, Desaru Coast Destination Resort (Desaru Coast) has announced its largest incentives package ringing in at total of INR 12 million to entice Indian travellers, event planners and organisations to its pristine, idyllic coastal resort.
India is a key and coveted source market in all categories for Desaru Coast. Returning to SATTE for the fourth time, the destination is offering the following incentives to cover key Indian market segments.
For the leisure market, Desaru Coast is introducing its popular luxury stay packages at affordable prices starting at approximately INR 6,600 per person. Packages include hotel stays and selected Desaru Coast experiences as a special value-add. Further to that, guests can purchase Adventure Waterpark tickets, largest water parks in Asia, with every room purchased at the destination. The total incentive offered to the leisure market amounts to INR 5 million.
For the MICE segment, under its signature MICE Reinvented, the destination will be offering incentives valued up to INR 2.1 million for events and groups. For every group booking, Desaru Coast is offering an incentive of INR 1,100 per person for the Gala Dinner. Additionally, the destination will provide complimentary pocket show activities and cultural shows for the gala dinner.
To attract Indian weddings, a INR 4.4 million incentive will be presented to the first five weddings booked at the destination.

We have now announced our biggest incentive package valued up to INR12 million to capture the much-desired Indian market. Our incentives cuts across all segments; leisure travellers, MICE groups of all sizes as well as the Indian wedding segment.”
Desaru Coast has also introduced its newly launched MICE Reinvented programme to Indian trade practitioners.
