Indonesian air carrier Mandala Airlines has missed a 30-day government-imposed deadline to organise its finances and relaunch flights. The carrier, which operated international routes to Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau, grounded all services on 13 January saying that it needed to restructure its debts. “I have not received any request from Mandala,” local news portal, TEMPO Interactive , reported the Director General of Air Transportation at Indonesia’s Transportation Ministry, Herry Bhakti Singoyuda Gumay, as saying.
