Garuda Indonesia will add 30,000 seats to cater for increased demand during the upcoming Idul Fitri holidays. The Antara news agency reported an airline spokesperson as saying that it anticipated a 15-20% jump in traffic during the Islamic holiday. The extra capacity will be focused on cities such as Solo, Yogyakarta and Padang. International capacity will also be added to destinations such as Singapore, Bangkok, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
