Asian aviation enthusiasts will have the opportunity to see the brand new Airbus A350 in the coming weeks, as Airbus takes its new wide-body jet on a tour of the region.
The A350 arrived in Asia this week for an 11-day, five-country tour, that will take it to Seoul, Tokyo, Hanoi, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur between 17 and 28 November. This will enable officials from such airlines as Asiana, JAL, Vietnam Airlines, Thai Airways and AirAsia X to inspect their new aircraft.
The aircraft has already visited Singapore and Hong Kong as part of an earlier world tour.
The aircraft on display is one of Airbus’ five test A350-900 aircraft, featuring a fully-functional cabin with 42 business class and 223 economy class seats.
The first A350 is on track to be delivered to launch customer Qatar Airways by the end of the year.
