Abacus, Kuoni Academy sign training partnership

Abacus International and Kuoni Academy have announced a strategic partnership to become education partners for Abacus Training in India.
The agreement will enable Kuoni Academy to train its students and travel agents on the Abacus platform at Kuoni Academy centres across India. Once the training is completed, each participant will receive a formal certificate stating that they have been trained on all levels of the Abacus GDS platform.
“Our partnership with Kuoni Academy signifies Abacus’ continued momentum in India and is testament to the strong track record we have achieved here,” said Jeet Sawhney, Managing Director for Abacus in India.”
Speaking at this occasion Rajeev Wagle, Managing Director of Kuoni India said, “Kuoni Academy focuses on introducing new courses that can further enhance the skill sets of travel professionals. By receiving training on the Abacus GDS platform, students at Kuoni Academy will be encouraged to perform better and would confer the travel industry with thinking, action-oriented and entrepreneurial professionals.”
Kuoni Academy and Abacus will formally announce all course offerings for the travel fraternity and will jointly hold a series of awareness programmes across India on Abacus. All courses offered by Kuoni Academy will have this programme as part of their curriculum.
