Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) has unveiled plans for a second U resort in Bali.

Located in the New Kuta area of the island, the new U Sameera Pecatu Bali will form part of the Pecatu Indah Resort complex – a major development also comprising an 18-hole golf course, shopping malls, international schools and a convention centre.

Due to open in the third quarter of 2014, the resort will feature 122 rooms, all with free Wi-Fi and views of either the golf course or ocean. Other property facilities will include a restaurant, rooftop infinity-edged swimming pool and a gym. A spa with four treatment rooms, rooftop restaurant and 50-pax meeting room will be added by the end of the year.

“We are delighted to add to our existing presence in Bali and Indonesia which we are focusing on as a major development destination in 2014. The quality and location of the U Sameera Pecatu Bali just a few steps from dreamland beach and the ocean is really very exciting,” said AHS’ CEO, Jonathan Wigley.

AHS currently operates one U Hotel in Bali, the U Paasha Seminyak.
