Hoseasons has launched a new portfolio of boating holidays named ‘Starboard’.

The new boating escapes will be aimed at families, couples and groups of friends with a “high level of service and amenities”.

The company will have 20 boats in total based in four bases in the English canals and three in the Norfolk Broads.

Boats will sleep between two and eight people with facilities including living areas, a kitchen, TVs, games and the ability to carry bikes onboard. Passengers will also receive a ‘starter park’ of champagne, priority check-in, outdoor blankets and the option to book short breaks.

“Over the past five years Hoseasons have successfully launched new products in the Lodges and Parks marketplace after experiencing a growth in desire for this type of accommodation and the natural next stage was to develop a new boating collection,” said Simon Altham, managing director of Hoseasons.

“Boating holidays are a fantastic way to explore the UK’s rivers, canals and inland waterways, but our research has told us that often this type of experience isn’t immediately associated with the highest quality accommodation. Starboard has been designed to bridge this gap and offer luxury boating with a touch of class to our customers – old and new,” he added.
