Abu Dhabi Airport offers US pre-clearing

Travellers flying to Etihad Airways’ destinations in the U.S.A. can now be pre-cleared before boarding their flights through Abu Dhabi International Airport’s United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Facility located at Terminal 3. 
It covers passengers bound for Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
On arrival in the US, they will be treated like domestic arrivals, with shorter connection times possible for onward flights within the mainland, as well as luggage arriving at the final destination.
Additionally, with Automated Passport Control (APC) kiosks also available, Etihad Airways’ passengers travelling from the U.S, and other eligible Visa Waiver Program international passengers can also experience even shorter wait times and faster processing when passing through the airport of the capital city of the UAE.
Etihad Airways offers five daily flights from Kuwait to Abu Dhabi, providing convenient connection to daily flights to Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington D.C., besides its double daily flights to New York and three flights a week to Dallas.
