AccorHotels has opened its second Grand Mercure hotel in the Chinese port city of Qingdao.
The new Grand Mercure Qingdao Nanshan Resort is modern upscale hotel with 508 rooms and suites, located adjacent to the Qingdao International Exhibition Centre.
Guests are offered a choice of three F&B venues, including Chinese and international restaurants, plus a fitness area, swimming pool and sauna. For the MICE market there are eight function rooms, two boardrooms and a 1,000-pax ballroom. All guests are offered free Wi-Fi.
“Grand Mercure Qingdao Nanshan Resort is an excellent addition to the Grand Mercure network in the beautiful coastal and largest city of Shandong province,” said Michel Molliet, AccorHotels’ chief operating officer for Greater China.

This becomes the 14th Grand Mercure property in China and the second in Qingdao, following the Grand Mercure Qingdao Airport.
